Bishops made hard going of a game that should have proven easy based on recent form. However, RC Schaffhausen with a strong and large pack, dominated scrums and rucks, making life difficult for the St. Gallen team.

Frustrated by the lack of front foot ball, the Bishops' backs struggled to break the hungry Schaffhausen defensive line. Poor discipline and a high penalty count also proved critical, with Bishops unable to maintain pressure for extended periods of time.

Some sloppy defence saw RC Schaffhausen come close to scoring a number of times, but Bishops scrambled and defended their red zone well. Man of the Match, Brad Grobler scored two decisive tries which laid the foundation for Bishops to secure the bonus point win. Dominik Chiavi, Tom Wright & Daniel Llano also crossed to score with Gareth Davies nailing 4/5 conversions.
