Can Bishops Continue Winning Streak?

By Malcolm Fraser

Bishops on the verge of 10 consecutive wins and equal points with table leaders Rugby Club Würenlos.

Having won all games since the 1st round thrashing at the hands of Rugby Club Luzern, Bishops are set to make it 10 consecutive wins when they face Rugby Club Solothurn this afternoon in what promises to be a gruelling match in hot conditions.

Bishops will have to be disciplined and organised without leading try scorer Tom Wright who is recovering from a hamstring injury. Also ruled out due to injury, is recently returned work-horse, Christopher Douillet, whose fitness and presence will be sorely missed in the forwards.

Gaining his first start for the season is rookie and newcomer Colin Weibel at lock with Severine Koster also set to play his first game off the bench.

Get behind your local rugby team and join us at 15:00 Breitfeld, 9015 Abtwil, St. Gallen to see if Bishops can make it 10/11 for the season and take joint leadership of the NLC with RCW.
