Rugby Monstas: Rugby-Fun for St. Gallen Youngsters

Based on the Swiss Muki-Turnen concept, but with a rugby focus, Rugby Monstas has been held the past 3 Sunday mornings with an increasing number of participants aged from 3-12 years. It allows young people to gain exposure to positive rugby culture, where fun, respect and fairness are major themes.

With no 1-on-1 tackling or contact, kids have a safe environment to develop self-confidence, and, in a world dominated by technology, the opportunity to be active. Through individual and team activities, Rugby Monstas aims to improve motor skills, coordination as well as social competence while having 'Rugby-Fun'. It also aims to compliment the Junior training offered by the club on Thursday evenings at 6pm.

Organised and run by current players and coaches of the Rugby Club St. Gallen Bishops: "We wanted to provide a platform for our sons to be active and experience positive rugby culture - to foster competitiveness but at the same time cooperation. They are generally more balanced afterwards and the added bonus is, they're tired in the evening."

If interested, feel free to contact Brad Grobler 078 400 4838 or Malcolm Fraser 078 965 3516

Rugby Monstas is held either Saturday or Sunday mornings depending on RCSG Bishops match schedule.
