Round 3 - 4 teams share NLC lead

World Cup opening weekend and Round 3 of LNC, although worlds apart, experienced; a try-fest, a match which went down to the wire, and a match which showed positive signs of improvement.

This weekend's results leave 4 teams sitting on 10 points at the top of the table: Rc Würenlos, RC St. Gallen, RC Zug and RC Bern. RC St. Gallen Bishops still have a game in hand and will need to be accurate against arch-rivals RC Würenlos if they hope to regain top spot on the leaderboard.

Weekend results saw RC Bern win convincingly against RC Schaffhausen 50 - 0 with an 8-try romp.

Albaladejo scored in the dying seconds of their match against RC Würenlos, taking the honours 13 - 8. Their win sees them one point adrift of the table leaders on 9 points.

Solothurn, although experiencing a loss, would be encouraged to have held league favourites RC Zug to a 7 - 24 scoreline.

RC St. Gallen Bishops will be looking to prepare well this week for their 'Derby' match against RC Würenlos. Always a tough but fair encounter, the squad from St. Gallen look forward to the match which will definitely be one worth watching.

Come and support us.
