FSR Viertelfinal Cupsieg

A mixture of experience and youth provided Bishops with a strong starting 13, who displayed great team spirit to get up over the favoured Avusy team.

Despite being somewhat underprepared, and not having had serious scrum or line out training, Bishops forwards held their own to provide some good first phase ball for the backs and continuous phase play. When patterns were held, Bishops defended solidly with Oliver Baumgartner and Tom Wright leading some bruising tackling stats. Also worth mentioning; a solid performance from the ever-improving Gabriel Burger, growing in confidence and game understanding with every match.

Transferring pre-season training into the game improved greatly and provides a positive base for the Bishops to head into the beginning of the 2nd round of the LNC against Luzern 24th March.

Die Bishops treten den Cup Viertel Finale gegen Avusy mit 13 Spielern an. Doch Dank einem unvergleichlichen Kampfgeist und dem Einsatz in der Saisonvorbereitung können sie das erste Spiel in diesem Jahr mit 24 zu 21 für sich entscheiden. Damit qualifizieren sich die Bishops erstmals in ihrer 28 jährigen Vereinsgeschichte für den Cup Halbfinale. Die Spieler legen somit ein solides Fundament für die kommende Saison.
