In bitter, cold, wet conditions, Bishops went on a try-scoring spree, bagging no less than nine 5-pointers against rivals RC Schaffhausen.
Bishops hit their stride relatively early in the piece, running in a total of 5 first half tries, while Schaffhausen struggled to find their rhythm in the sub-optimal St. Gallen conditions.
Man-of-the-Match, Fly-half, Alex M controlled the game well and was rewarded with an early 5-pointer. His accuracy off the tee was also commendable in challenging conditions. Despite the weather, Bishops were able to convert pressure into points with jarring tackles, strong forward carries, and well-timed back line attacks. Severin K. ran great support lines in bagging a brace as did Tom W, Jonas B, Gianluca A, Andreas K, Oliver B and Sandro M.
Thanks to RC Schaffhausen Golden balls, our (frozen) referee, Cindies/Konstanz/Vorarlberg Women's team, and our home supporters for making today another great rugby day!
